Mrs. ShubnellMrs. Shubnell, MICI Teacher

I have been teaching in Southfield for over 18 years. I believe all children are unique, have different learning styles, and learn at their own pace. It is my goal as an educator to meet the needs of all learners and have reachable expectations that take place in a safe environment. I also believe infusing technology into daily instruction prepares students for the "Global Society" of the 21st Century.
My desire to learn technology has driven me to work on an Educational Technology Endorsement at Madonna University. In 2011, I became a certified SMART Notebook trainer, and currently, train other educators around the district. I have presented at the Michigan Council for Exceptional Children and MACUAL Conference.
