The Ascension Mi School-Based Health Center at Southfield High School A & T is officially open! Ascension Michigan School-Based Health Centers are an initiative of Ascension SE Michigan Community Health, committed to improving the quality of life for communities.
This groundbreaking partnership will help further our commitment to promote a healthy future for students of the Southfield community by addressing the developmental, physical and emotional needs of our children. Students will receive comprehensive health care and health education through the center.
If you have a child up to five years old, we invite you to visit our Bussey Center for Early Childcare Education Enrollment Fair, Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 2-6 p.m.
Accepting returning and new applications for Birth to Five Head Start. Bring the required information for on-site pre-registration processing.

CommunityPass is the district platform various fee-based programs and service payments. CommunityPass allows for school program payments without using physical cash.
Parents can:
- Make contributions to your child's lunch account in the future
- Pay for field trips
- Pay for senior dues.
- And just about any expense that you would incur within our school district without having to come to the school district.
Parents should have received an individual communication via email with your student’s login information.

The Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) is seeking 30 rising 6th grade girls this year to participate in the Girls in Engineering Academy (GEA) summer and academic year program that continues throughout high school. The program will provide math and science enrichment, engineering and computer science concepts, English/language arts comprehension, hands-on project-based STEM activities, mentoring, virtual field trips to industry, and engineering career exploration.
