Parent Advisory Committee

The Parent Advisory Committee welcomes all families who have students receiving special education services. We focus on current needs identified by families during Parent Advisory Committee meetings.

Our Mission 

The Parent Advisory Committee will increase the success of students receiving special education services by advocating for the families of these students and bridging the gap between Southfield Public Schools and families.

Our Purpose

To advise the district's director of support services of critical issues in special education currently affecting families and students in Southfield Public Schools.

To provide the district's director of support services with input for the resolution of the issues.
