First Grade

First grade is a wonderful educational journey for young learners. Together we can make this one of the best field trips ever! Being a partner in your child's education is as easy as A,B,C!

A. Be involved. Know what your child is studying. keep yourself tuned in. Read our weekly newsletter.

B. Don't be a "wonderer" ...wondering what's going on or wondering why something is happening. Ask a question, express a concern, suggest a solution, or share an idea. You can reach me at school @ 746-8840.

C. Understand that first graders do have homework. Don't ask your child if there's homework. Ask your child what today's homework assignment is and when he or she will have it completed. Ask if you can help. Then check to see that the homework is done correctly and neatly.
