Fifth Grade

Welcome!

Fifth grade can be a challenging year for students; it begins the transition process from elementary to middle school. This year students will become independent and more responsible. It is important that each student comes to school prepared to learn. As a student, it is your child's job to work hard in school and learn as much as they can. In order to learn students must come to school with all homework, supplies and a positive attitude.

The attitudes and behaviors children need most for school readiness are independence, compassion, trust, creativity, self-control and perseverance. These are also the attitudes children need to grow into successful, competent adults. We will prove to be an adventurous year, filled with new opportunities and experiences geared towards a brighter future for your child.
