Use special activities in the classroom
Provide an environment that allows for positive communication between myself, parents, and students
Encourage students and parents by providing information about student progress
Give students strategies to increase competence

See that my child is punctual and attends school regularly
Support the school in its efforts to maintain proper discipline
Encourage my child’s efforts to do his/her best
Stay aware of what my child is learning
Encourage positive attitudes
Attend parent/teacher conferences and other school functions
Communicate with teachers and/or school officials
Establish a time for sharing daily school experiences and/or completing homework
Read with my child and let my child see me read
Provide a library card for my child
