MacArthur K-8 University Academy's mission is to engage students in high quality learning experiences, teach students personal and civic responsibility, and inspire students to be enthusiastic and indpendent learners.

MacArthur Student Council Members partnered with Southfield Goodfellows for a second year in a row and adopted nine children this holiday season. Each grade level adopted a child and purchased clothes, coats, toys and gift cards for their adopted child. Happy Hollidays!!

Congratulations to Third Grader, Syerra (above) and Fourth Grader Maya (below) for receiving the 2017 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Annual Youth Community Service Award for their outstanding service and commitment to the Southfield community.  Both students are apart of the Cool Kids Jr Optimist Club of Southfield.  Syerra serves as Treasurer.
