2016-2017 Levey Middle School Book Fair

This years book fair was a success.  This was the first year that Scholastic sent Levey MS a table top book fair instead of the large cases.  Our students were able walk around the tables and look at books from all four directions. This allowed the students to explore and browse the many books, magazines and supplies that were available.

Student interest purchase categories include: Drawing, Holiday, Historic Fiction during WWII, Graphic Novels, Young Adult Fiction, Movie Books and Popular Lifestyle reads.

Many students as well as parents volunteered to make this years book fair a success!!

The media center is the active focal point of the school. The mission of the media center is to implement the curriculum and programs of the school, while supporting the needs of Levey faculty. Students and their classes are encouraged to visit the media center during the day to work on research projects, homework and check-out books. The media center ensures that students are critical users of technology and provides access to digital and print information. It encourages life-long learning and love of reading.
