  • On Saturday, February 25 2017, members of the Thompson K-8 International Academy Model United Nations attended a conference at Michigan State University.  Debating topics such as identifying barriers children have to an education, the 2099 war on mars, or establishing George Washington’s cabinet, these 6 members shined in their role-playing ability to resolve world issues.  Faculty advisor Mr Lawniczak was never so proud of
    • Bishop Colding (who won an award as an honorable mention best delegate)
    • William Clay (who won an award for outstanding delegate)
    • Brock Colding, Demarcus Smith, Aniya Combs, Lamaria Phillips
    • I congratulate these amazing, hard-working, studious students.  And especially thank Mrs. Colding, Mrs. Combs, and Mrs. Smith for safely driving these delegates to MSU.
  • Last week the students in Mrs. Green's 2nd grade completed their Hour of Code and earned their Code.org certificates! They were very proud of their accomplishment and wanted to keep going!
