Summer Programming

Summer Discovery 2026

We are excited to invite your scholar to participate in the K–8 SPS Summer Discovery Program. This free five week summer program is open to students currently enrolled in Southfield Public Schools in grades K–8 for the 2025–2026 school year.  Rising Kindergarten students who are completely enrolled in kindergarten for Fall 2026 with Southfield Public Schools by May 29, 2026 are also eligible to attend Summer Discovery.

Program Details:

📅 Dates: June 22 – July 23, 2026

📍 Locations:

1. Grades Rising K-4: Stevenson Elementary  (27777 Lahser Rd. Southfield, MI 48034)
   1. ⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Thursday)

 

2. Grades 5-8: Southfield A&T  (24675 Lahser Rd. Southfield, MI 48033)
   1. ⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Thursday)

 

🍽️ Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided at no cost.  

• Breakfast is from 8:00-8:30 AM at both locations
   

This program offers both additional academic support and accelerated learning opportunities in reading and math, while also providing fun enrichment activities to help students explore their interests. Our goal is to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment where every scholar can grow and thrive.

📅 Deadline: May 1, 2025 (or earlier if capacity is reached)

• Use your Parent Username & Password to sign in.
  • If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions.
  • If you no longer have access to your email on file, put in a help desk ticket https://bit.ly/spsmistarhelp.
• Complete & Submit the registration form for each scholar.
• Review & Update your information as needed.
• Register early! Space is limited, and registration will close once we reach capacity.
