  • Southfield Education Assn. Toy Drive - SEA collected 1,000 toys and filled Giving Tree Tags for 84 children
  • National Dance Alliance (NDA) Superior Awards 8 Years
  • Several individuals accepted in All American Dance Team each year
  • NDA Special Event Awards leads to participation in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade for several students
  • Participation in Michigan Youth Arts Festival 3 times
  • Detroit Lions Thanksgiving game half time show (6 years)
  • 2nd place award at National Dance Spirit Championship
  • The dance department holds a fall & spring concert each year
  • Many graduates professionally study music at Western Michigan University, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Berklee College of Music, George Washington University, and Eastern Michigan University.
  • Several individuals accepted each year to Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) Regional, State & All-State Honors Choir programs.
  • The choir program has earned a reputation for division I ratings at MSVMA District/State Choral Festival in performance & sight reading for many years.
  • Award winning soloists at MSVMA District/State Solo & Ensemble each year
  • Each year the vocal music department participates in Adopt-A-Child by purchasing gifts for a family in need
  • Special guest conductors work with our students each year to improve our performance. Guests in the past have been: Dr. Abby Butler, Dr. Gilbert Jackson, Robert Martin, Dr. Paul Rardin, Dr. Eugene Rogers & April Tini.
