Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement
Helen McIntyre Elementary School, in partnership with families and community, is committed to the development of leadership that promotes motivated, goal-oriented students who cultivate a strong work ethic and value diversity and teamwork in their quest to achieve academic excellence; thus, enabling them to become contributing citizens in a 21st century global society.

Class Mission Statements 
Each classroom created a mission statement that was aligned to our school's mission and vision statements. The goal of each classroom was for the students to see themselves, not just as individuals, but as a contributing member to our class and school.  Developing a class mission statements allowed students to see how their combined talents and energies can make a difference.  Below you will find the class mission statements that are posted on the doors of every classroom.
