The Southfield Public Schools Board of Education has secured the services of the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) to assist the Board in filling the Superintendent of Schools position. This most important decision will be made by the Board of Education. However, the Board of Education is seeking input from key stakeholders across the district.
Representatives from MASB will be in the district to gather input regarding desired attributes that the next Superintendent should be able to demonstrate. You are invited to be part of this activity. There are two opportunities for the community and parents to provide input:
March 14, 2018 at 9 a.m. - John W. English Administrative Center Boardroom
March 16, 2018 at 6 p.m. - Southfield High School for the Arts & Technology Auditorium
If you are unable to attend an input session, please participate by completing an online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/southfieldsearch. Anonymous individual survey responses are submitted directly to the MASB facilitators.
Feel free to contact our office at 248-746-4366 if you have questions. Thank you in advance for your willingness to participate in this very important part of the superintendent selection process.
